Las Vegas Raiders (2-5) wide receiver Jakobi Meyers has made it clear he wants to be traded ahead of this coming Tuesday’s 4 p.m. ET deadline. According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, “has received interest in the seven-year veteran, and my sense is the Raiders want a strong pick for Meyers.”
One of the teams that’s interested in Meyer’s services are the Pittsburgh Steelers (4-3). Right now, Fowler believes Pittsburgh is the favorite to land Meyers.
Meyers, 28, requested a trade in August after he and the Raiders failed to agree to terms on a contract extension. He is in the final year of a three-year, $33 million deal he signed in 2023. He doubled down on that request last week.
“Oh, for sure,” Meyers said Oct. 21. “But I’m a professional at the end of the day. I’m just trying to play good football. If I’m here, I’ll play good football. If I’m not here, I’ll go out there and play wherever I’m supposed to be.”
