Jalen Ramsey reveals disgusting act that led him to punch Ja'Marr Chase

by: Chandler Vessels 3 hours ago ChandlerVessels

Jalen Ramsey claims that Bengals receiver Ja’Marr Chase spat on him Sunday, prompting a reaction that led to the Steelers defensive back being ejected, per Mike DeFabo of The Athletic . Ramsey was thrown out of the game in the fourth quarter for throwing a punch at Chase.

The punch came after the two players appeared to be exchanging some words with each other. This was a theme throughout Sunday’s matchup. Not too long before Ramsey’s ejection, he was involved in a pushing and shoving contest with Chase, in which both had to be separated from one another.

Chase was not ejected from the contest, so if he did spit on Ramsey, it managed to get past the eyes of officials. Perhaps some frustrations were boiling over from the receiver, who was held to just three catches for 30 yards on 10 targets.

The Steelers went on to win 34-12 as they improved to 6-4 on the season. We’ll have to wait and see whether the league decides to look into Ramsey’s claims any further.

Chase was asked about Ramsey’s comments postgame and denied spitting on the Steelers DB. So unless video evidence can be found, it’s just one player’s word against the other.
