Jannik Sinner involved in bizarre fan incident in Saudi Arabia

In a strange turn of events, World No. 2 Jannik Sinner was taken aback Wednesday when a fan in Saudi Arabia ran onto the court and asked for his jacket.  The Netflix cameras captured the incident after the Italian finished his on-court interview following his 6-2, 6-3 victory over Stefanos Tsitsipas in the Six Kings Slam exhibition tournament.  As seen in the video below, Sinner initially maintained a calm demeanor, shaking hands with the fan and engaging in conversation with him. However, his calmness quickly turned to fright when he realized that the intruder was not a part of the tournament staff, but just a random fan. Fortunately, security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and removed the fan from the premises.  Incidentally, the four-time Grand Slam champion faced a similar issue at this year’s U.S. Open when a spectator tried to open his bag while he was signing autographs. Sinner brushed off the incident, while noting that he didn’t have any valuables in his bag, save for tennis equipment. WithRead More
