Javonte Williams injury update: Cowboys release status on RB vs. Vikings

Dallas Cowboys running back Javonte Williams suffered an injury in the Sunday Night Football game against the Minnesota Vikings. During the first quarter, the team announced that Williams suffered a shoulder injury and is questionable to return.

Todd Archer of ESPNreported that Williams was on the sidelines after the Cowboys announced his injury. Williams was flexing his left arm/shoulder as the medical staff was examining him. Before the injury, Javonte Williams rushed for 13 yards and one touchdown on six carries.

Entering Sunday’s game, Williams tallied 1,022 rushing yards and nine touchdown on 215 carries in 13 games. He joined Dallas this season after spending his first four years with the Denver Broncos.
