Jaxson Dart injury update: Major change emerges in status of New York Giants QB

It’s a happy Thanksgiving for the New York Giants. Quarterback Jaxson Dart cleared concussion protocol, meaning he can play on Monday night against the New England Patriots. Dart missed the last two games, leaving Jameis Winston as the starting quarterback.

Dart is thriving as a rookie, appearing to be a franchise quarterback for the Giants. He was taken in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, going No. 25 overall. Former head coach Brian Daboll eased him into the year as Russell Wilson began the year as New York’s guy.

In nine games, Dart has thrown for 1,417 yards, 10 touchdowns, and three interceptions. He is completing just under 63% of his passes. In games where Dart has been the starter, New York owns a 2-5 record.
