Jayden Daniels injury update: Washington Commanders QB helped off after gruesome dislocation

by: Nick Kosko 18 hours ago nickkosko59

Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels appeared to suffer an arm injury in the fourth quarter of their game against the Seattle Seahawks. Trailing 38-7, Daniels was still in with less than eight minutes remaining.

As Daniels ran with the football, he was brought down to the ground awkwardly. As he braced himself, the Commanders QB extended his left arm, which bent in the wrong direction.

Daniels had his arm immobilized by the medical training staff. He managed to walk off the field with assistance and did not get carted off.

Daniels finished the game 16-of-22 passing for 153 yards, one interceptions, 51 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown. It was a rough night for Washington as they allowed 24 points in the second quarter and were playing catchup all game.

The Commanders punched in a score after Danielsโ€™ injury, but trailed 38-14 with 7:14 remaining in the game. Danielsโ€™ latest injury was the most recent portion of a run of bad luck with health this season.

He missed last Mondays game due to a hamstring injury and missed two others due to a knee injury. Now, add the arm injury to the list. No diagnosis was given in the immediacy, but itโ€™s safe to assume Daniels will be out for the foreseeable future.
