Jerry Jones reacts to Eagles' third straight loss, if NFC East is open for Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys are chasing the Philadelphia Eagles for the top spot in the NFC East. While Dallas slipped up this past Thursday, losing 44-30 to the Detroit Lions, they remain alive with four games to go in the 2025 regular season.

Philadelphia had a chance to take advantage of Dallasโ€™ loss on Thursday Night Football, but they failed to do it. The Eagles dropped their third consecutive game Monday night, a 22-19 overtime defeat to the Los Angeles Chargers.

Can the Cowboys overcome a 1.5-game deficit to win the division and get into the playoffs? Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones believes they can.

โ€œReal excited. They didnโ€™t even need to put any fuel in the plane. I flew up here on my own,โ€ Jones said Tuesday from New York City during an appearance on 105.3 The Fan . โ€œWe sure got a shot at this thing.โ€

Cowboys still believe they can win NFC East

The Cowboys were rolling before Detroit. They defeated the Las Vegas Raiders, Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs in back-to-back-to-back weeks.
