While most expect the New York Jets will start quarterback Justin Fields over backup Tyrod Taylor coming off their bye, first-year Jets head coach Aaron Glenn declined to confirm any news about the situation ahead of the club’s break. Understandably, Glenn was asked during his Monday media availability about the Jets’ depth chart ahead of their home game versus the Cleveland Browns (2-6) on Nov. 9. “You know I’m not going to give you that answer,” Glenn said, as shared by Myles Simmons of Pro Football Talk. “I’m going to keep that close to the vest.” Taylor seemingly was on track to start the Jets’ game at the Cincinnati Bengals on Oct. 26 before he was ruled out of that contest due to a bone bruise in his knee.
