Jets happy with Justin Fields’ development, still feel he has ‘a way to go’

Justin Fields did enough in his lone drive for the New York Jets on Saturday night.  The fifth-year quarterback went 3-of-4 passing for 42 yards and rushed two times for 14 yards and a touchdown in the Jets’ 30-10 win over the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. Following the game, Jets head coach Aaron Glenn told the media he likes where Fields is at but stressed that the 2021 first-round pick has room for improvement before he plays his former team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, in Week 1. “I’ve told you guys this, and I’ll tell him this, he’s going to get criticized for every little thing, and the good thing about him is he is so mature, and we talk about this on a consistent basis — he doesn’t care,” Glenn said via NBC Sports. “The only thing that we care about is how is he operating and is he getting better, and we see that in house.  “We love where he’s at right now.
