The Los Angeles Lakers’ defensive woes showed again in primetime in a 119-96 loss to the Houston Rockets on Thursday. Austin Reaves had to leave with another injury, and Luka Doncic looked far from healthy in the loss. However, Lakers head coach JJ Redick believes it was all a matter of execution and effort — or a lack thereof. That’s why, following the loss, the retired sharpshooter put his players on blast, claiming some didn’t care. “Saturday’s practice — I told the guys — it’s going to be uncomfortable,” Redick said, per ESPN. “The meeting is going to be uncomfortable.
