Houston Texans running back Joe Mixon is not expected to play this year as he deals with a foot injury he suffered during the offseason. According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Mixon will likely remain on the reserve/non-football injury list through the year.

With Mixon out, the Texans will go with Nick Chubb and rookie Woody Marks . Through 10 games, Chubb has rushed for 419 yards and two touchdowns on 99 carries, and Marks has rushed for 348 yards and two touchdowns on 99 carries.

There haven’t been too many updates on Mixon since the Texans placed him on the reserve/non-football injury list to start the year. Texans general manager Nick Caserio recently appeared on Sports Radio 610 and said the team has no update on Mixon’s recovery.
