With 1:46 remaining in the first quarter against the New York Jets, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen left the game. Allen ran off the field and appeared to be bleeding from his nose.
Mitch Trubisky replaced Allen while he was being examined on the sideline. Before leaving the game, Allen threw three completions for 14 total yards.
Allen didn’t allow the bloody nose to keep him out for long. The reigning NFL MVP returned to the game after the medical staff stuffed his left nostril with gauze.

The Bills will be happy to have Allen back on the field. He was spectacular in the team’s season-opening 41-40 win over the Baltimore Ravens. In the triumph, Allen completed 33-of-his-46 pass attempts for 394 yards and two touchdowns, without throwing an interception.
