The Los Angeles Chargers held their breath on Monday night, waiting for news on star pass rusher Khalil Mack . Thankfully, the severity does not seem to be as bad as initially thought. Because, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Mack will only wind up missing a few weeks.
“#Chargers legend Khalil Mack, who left Monday’s win over the #Raiders with a dislocated elbow, is expected to be back in a few weeks, per me and @MikeGarafolo,” Rapoport said via X. “Not season-ending. Good news for LAC, as Mack has looked like his usual productive self for this stellar defense.”
Mack left Monday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders due to the elbow injury. He was attempting to tackle Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker on a play, landing weirdly when falling on the grass. Getting up and holding his left arm, Mack was carted back to the locker room. Later on, he appeared back on the sideline in a sling.
