One young fielder during Monday’s Home Run Derby may have just put himself in the conversation for the No. 1 overall pick in a future MLB Draft. Tampa Bay Rays phenom Junior Caminero made it to the final round of the Derby at Truist Park in Atlanta. He faced off against Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh, who leads all of Major League Baseball with 38 home runs. Raleigh went first during the final round and ended up hitting an impressive 18 home runs. Caminero then followed and put up a good fight … but no thanks to one of the kids who was fielding fly balls in the outfield. With Caminero sitting at four home runs, he lifted one to the wall in left field. The ball looked poised to clear the fence … only for the fielder to leap at the wall and somehow bring it back.
