Kirk Herbstreit reveals NFL teams with 'strong possibility' of reaching Super Bowl, talks relationship with Raising Cane's

Kirk Herbstreit believes two NFL teams are separating themselves in this season’sSuper Bowl race. On3 spoke to Herbstreit at a Raising Cane’s event in Nashville last week, and he was asked which teams have the best chance to reach the Super Bowl.

“What a year to try to predict the Super Bowl. There’s so much parity,” Kirk Herbstreit told On3 and a group of reporters. “I think the Rams. I’m going to actually call Rams, Seahawks (on Thursday). The winner of that game could be a team that could, in the NFC, become in the driver’s seat. The AFC is just so wide open. There’s been such interesting stories with New England and Denver, and even Indy with Daniel Jones . Now with that injury, I don’t know if they’re going to be able to hold up.

“I would say maybe a Rams … Don’t hold me to this, but I would say I think a Rams, New England Super Bowl would be a strong possibility as we sit here. But it’s still a long way to go.”

The Los Angeles Rams and the New England Patriots are in positions to play in the Super Bowl. LA has an 11-3 record, and the team is in first place in the NFC. New England is also 11-3 and one game behind the Denver Broncos for the lead in the AFC.
