Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray suffered a foot injury in the most awkward way imaginable in a stunning loss to the Tennessee Titans. And his status for this Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts remains up in the air.
Murray was a non-participant at the team’s practice on Thursday, further throwing his status into doubt. ESPN’s Adam Schefter , among others, reported the news.
Just seconds before he exited the game against the Titans on Sunday and headed to the locker room, Murray had taken a snap off his face. The ball ended up in Tennessee’s hands, and moments later Murray headed to the locker room to get his injury looked at.
Kyler Murray apparently injured his foot while trying to jump on the fumble. That happened late in the third quarter, with Arizona leading Tennessee 21-6.
