In a heart-stopping Western Conference play-in game, the Los Angeles Lakers managed a narrow 110-106 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans, securing their spot in the upcoming NBA playoffs. The game, held on Tuesday night, saw both teams giving their all, with LeBron James leading the Lakers with 23 points, nine assists, and nine rebounds. Despite a strong performance by Zion Williamson, who scored 40 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, the Pelicans now face elimination. Williamson’s night ended prematurely due to a left hamstring injury, casting a shadow over his impressive postseason debut.

The Pelicans rallied late in the game, tying it at 95 with just over three minutes remaining, but the Lakers pulled ahead with crucial plays from Anthony Davis and DeAngelo Russell. The Pelicans will now have to regroup quickly, as they prepare to face the Sacramento Kings in a decisive matchup for the eighth seed in the West,
