Lamar Jackson left the Ravens’ loss to the Chiefs Sunday with a hamstring injury and his availability moving forward is up in the air. NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported Jackson sitting out the next couple of weeks is definitely a possibility.
In the 37-20 loss, Jackson was just 14-of-20 for 147 yards, one touchdowns, one interception and ran six times for 48 yards. At 1-3, Baltimore is certainly in some sort of desperation mode.
They’ll host Houston this weekend, perhaps without Jackson, and then host the Los Angeles Rams. Jackson’s return could come on October 26th when Baltimore takes on the Chicago Bears.
“That is certainly an indication that Lamar Jackson is in danger of missing time because of this injury, the schedule also, potentially is a factor. They’ve got two more games before a Week 7 bye. Given Jackson’s play style, his importance to the team, could the Ravens potentially hold Lamar for the next two games give them almost a full month to recover and make sure he’s fully healthy after the bye? We’ll get more answers when the Ravens get back on the field for practice on Wednesday.”
