Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson left early for the locker room near the end of the first half Sunday night against the New England Patriots. Tyler Huntley entered the game in his place.
The injury occurred as Jackson was on the run before sliding and looked awkward as he went to the ground. NBC sideline reporter Melissa Stark revealed that it is a back injury and he is questionable to return.
“We just got word that is is questionable to return with a back injury,” Stark said. “He had a really hard time getting up those stairs and coming back down those stairs to go back to the locker room. Was grimacing in pain. It has been an injury filled year for him.”
Now an injury for the #Ravens: Lamar Jackson is going to the locker room.
Tyler Huntley is in the game. Will have more updates when available.

Jackson was still not on the field when the second half began. Ravens coach John Harbaugh said on the broadcast that he was still be worked on and stretching out attempting to return.
For now, however, the Ravens will have to lean on Huntley in this pivotal conference matchup. Huntley has started 10 games during his career in Baltimore as the backup to Jackson and is 4-6 in those contests.
