Lamar Jackson is out for Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans, the Baltimore Ravens said after Friday’s practice. He is dealing with a hamstring injury which knocked him out of last week’s game against the Chiefs.
Jackson could also miss next week’s game against the Los Angeles Rams, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Since the Ravens have a bye the week after, that could give him an extra week of recovery while missing just one more game.
Jackson was among a list of Baltimore players ruled out for Saturday against Houston. The Ravens will also be without cornerback Chidobe Awuzie , cornerback Marlon Humphrey , offensive lineman Emery Jones , fullback Patrick Ricard and linebacker Roquan Smith .

Through four games this year, Jackson has completed 71.6% of his passes for 869 yards and 10 touchdowns, to one interception. He has also rushed for 166 yards and a touchdown on the ground. He left last week’s game against the Chiefs after throwing for 147 yards and a touchdown, along with his first interception of the year.
