by: Brian Jones 4 hours ago brianjones_93

The Baltimore Ravens got some good news about Lamar Jackson, who is dealing with an ankle injury ahead of the Week 12 game against the New York Jets. The team announced that the star quarterback returned to practice on Thursday after not participating on Wednesday.

This is the second straight week that Jackson has missed practice on Wednesday only to return on Thursday. Last week, the formerLouisville star was dealing with knee soreness after the game against the Minnesota Vikings. This week, Jackson injured his ankle after being sacked five times by the Cleveland Browns.

Jackson has played in seven of the Ravensโ€™ 10 games this year. He missed three straight games after suffering a hamstring injury against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sept. 28. Jackson returned on Oct. 30 and has helped the team win the last three games. So far this year, Jackson has completed 68 percent of his passes for 1,442 yards, 15 touchdowns, and three interceptions with a 115.5 passer rating.

One big difference about Jackson this year is that heโ€™s not running the ball as much as he had in previous seasons. In seven games, the 28-year-old has rushed for 226 yards and one touchdown on 39 carries.
