Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson knows what needs to happen for the offense to improve going forward. While speaking to reporters after the Ravens’ 23-10 victory over the New York Jets, Jackson was asked if his injuries were slowing the offense down.
“No. No, I don’t think that at all. I feel like we just need to execute a lot better,” Lamar Jackson said. “We get in great field position, but we’re not putting points on the board. That has nothing to do with an injury. We just need to put points on the board right there.”
Jackson completed 13-of-23 passes for 153 yards on Sunday. The Ravens just tallied 241 yards of total offense and were only 2-11 on third-down conversions. The Jets outgained the Ravens in total yards (282) but had two turnovers in the loss.
Baltimore scored 20 of its 23 points in the second half. Running back Derrick Henry led the way, recording two 2-yard touchdowns in the third quarter.

“We need to execute better,” Jackson said when asked about the slow start in the first half. ” A lot of things I feel – we just have to put points on the board. Our defense has played ‘lights out’ for the last few weeks. [We] started to play well in Miami, but [within] the last few weeks, I feel like we need to put points on the board and execute drives.”
