Lamar Jackson returns to Ravens practice for first time since suffering hamstring injury

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson returned to the practice field Wednesday for the first time since suffering a hamstring injury in Week 4.

According to locals, Jackson jogged out to the practice field midway through the session and warmed up with teammates during the portion open to the media.

Jackson missed the Ravens’ last two losses while nursing the hamstring injury. Baltimore had a Week 7 bye. The hope was the former MVP could return and help jumpstart a comeback for the 1-5 club Sunday against the Chicago Bears.

Jackson is 2-0 in his career in his first game back after missing time due to injury (Week 13, 2020; Week 12, 2021). A similar result, if the QB can play, would keep the Ravens’ season afloat heading into the stretch run. A loss would have Baltimore in dire straits.
