Philadelphia Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson suffered an ankle injury in the second quarter of Monday’s Week 10 road game against the Green Bay Packers. Johnson is questionable to return, the Eagles announced.
The injury occurred on Philadelphia’s fourth drive of the game. Packers safety Evan Williams , attempting to make a tackle on Eagles tailback Saquon Barkley , dove into Johnson’s leg. His knee bent awkwardly, and he was in obvious discomfort. Fred Johnson has replaced Johnson at right tackle.

Johnson was carted back to the locker room. ESPN sideline reporter Lisa Salters provided an update on Johnson.
“They say that Lane Johnson is questionable to return, but when he came by me, he looked at me in a considerable amount of pain as he left the field,” Salters said. “Again, he needed help.”
