LeBron James’ agent reportedly provided notable update on trade market

LeBron James’ agent, Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul, has seemingly refuted claims about there being no trade market for the Los Angeles Lakers forward.  ESPN’s Bobby Marks, a former Brooklyn Nets assistant general manager, has said that “there isn’t” a trade market for the 40-year-old superstar. ESPN reporter Dave McMenamin, however, said that Paul had told him multiple teams had already contacted him about acquiring James.  “When I talked to Rich, he told me that he has not had any discussions with the Lakers about wanting a trade on the back end of his statement,” McMenamin said Monday on “NBA Today.” “He did say that four teams have contacted him in the last 24 hours wanting to talk trades, but Rich didn’t have any substantive conversations with those teams, either.” James has exercised his $52.6M player option for the 2025-26 season and has a no-trade clause in his contract.
