AFC Offensive Player of the Week

The Colts burst out to a 2-0 start thanks to 29-28 win over the Denver Broncos on Sunday that was spearheaded by Taylor. The game-breaking back piled up 215 scrimmage yards, with 165 rushing yards on 25 carries. Taylor peeled off a 68-yard run and averaged 6.6 yards per tote while adding a pair of receptions — one for a 43-yard pickup and the other for a 7-yard touchdown.

NFC Offensive Player of the Week

Goff was a touchdown machine in the Lions’ 52-21 throttling of the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Goff threw five touchdown passes — equaling the amount of incompletions on his day. Overall, he completed 23 of 28 passes (82.1%) for 334 yards, a 156.0 passer rating and no interceptions as he and the Lions offense found their groove and then some.
