LOOK: Aaron Rodgers suffers injury scare during training camp practice

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers had to briefly leave Tuesday’s practice after being stepped on, ESPN’s Brooke Pryor reported. Rodgers was later seen getting a bag of ice wrapped around his right calf.

The QB eventually had the calf wrapped up with an ace-bandage-like wrap and returned to practice. Pryor noted that Rodgers was “not quite as fluid” on his first couple of drop throws after getting his calf wrapped.

Ultimately, Rodgers did not miss any more snaps after returning to practice with the first team. However, he did throw an interception on his last rep and looked to be moving “a step slower” after the injury, according to Pryor.

Rodgers, 41, is getting ready to enter his 21st NFL season and his first with the Steelers. He signed with the team this offseason on a one-year deal and his expected to be the starter.
