LOOK: Ben DiNucci makes hilarious airport beer post after being cut by Atlanta Falcons

Ben DiNucci had a unique way of reacting to being cut by the Atlanta Falcons after the final game of the preseason. On X/Twitter, DiNucci shared a photo of himself at a bar in the airport with a beer.

“Not many beers better than the airport, ‘I just got cut from the NFL for the 7th time,’ beer,” Ben DiNucci wrote. “Trust me, you wouldn’t understand.”

DiNucci signed with the Falcons on Aug. 18 after the team’s fourth-string quarterback, Emroy Jones , suffered an injury in the Week 2 preseason game against the Tennessee Titans. The Falcons have Michael Penix Jr. as their starting QB, and Kirk Cousins is the backup. Easton Stick is the Falcons’ third-string QB.

Before the beer post, DiNucci teased his next career move. “I have been relieved of my duties in Atlanta,” DiNucci wrote. “They no longer need my services. Stay tuned … Career update coming this week.”

Looking at Ben DiNucci’s NFL career

DiNucci joined the NFL in 2020 after the Dallas Cowboys selected him in the seventh round of the draft. He played in three games with one start in the 2020 season and completed 53.4 percent of his passes for 219 yards. DiNucci spent the entire 2021 season on the practice squad and was cut by the Cowboys before the 2022 season.
