Ryan Clark and Peter Schrager appear to have appeared to settle their differences in the fallout of their on-air spat earlier this week. Clark and Schrager shared a first-bump together on ESPN ahead of the first Monday Night Football game of the season.

During a segment on Get Up , the crew discussed CeeDee Lamb โ€™s Week 1 performance against the Philadelphia Eagles. During the discussion, Clark described Schrager as a โ€œ non-player โ€ for his evaluation of the Dallas Cowboys star.

Schrager chose to focus on the positives of Lambโ€™s performance. However, after Clarkโ€™s โ€œnon-playerโ€ comment, Schrager told Clark not to โ€œbelittleโ€ him. Schrager said that he was simply offering a differing viewpoint from the former players on the desk โ€“ Ryan Clark,ย  Tedy Bruschi ย andย  Dan Orlovsky .

Clark has since publicly apologized to his colleague. During his written apology on X, Clark hinted that some of the tensions may have boiled over off the air as well, to which he said he regretted both.

โ€œI have apologized to Peter and taken accountability with ESPN leadership,โ€ the statement read. โ€œI value working with Peter and look forward to this season. My focus will remain on professionalism, teamwork, and being a better teammate moving forward.โ€

On-air, Clark shared his perspective as a 13-year veteran of the NFL. In games where he may have had a great game overall, but missed that one tackle that could have saved the game, it doesnโ€™t feel great.
