LSU’s 2024 recruiting class is gaining momentum with the addition of three-star offensive lineman, Joseph Cryer. The interior prospect from Natchitoches made his commitment to the Tigers just one day after LSU secured three-star tackle, Ory Williams.
First off I would like to thank god for putting me in this position!! I also want to thank my family for helping me out through this process!!! With that being said I’m a 100 % committed to Louisiana State University!! #GeauxTigers

Cryer had received an LSU scholarship offer last week and swiftly changed course after retracting his verbal pledge to Ole Miss. Standing tall at 6-foot-4 and weighing 290 pounds, Cryer holds the No. 33 spot among Louisiana prospects and ranks at No. 966 nationally, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
He becomes the fourth offensive lineman to join LSU’s class, alongside three-star prospects, Khayree Lee, Ethan Calloway, and Ory Williams. With Cryer’s addition, LSU’s 2024 class now boasts a total of 21 committed players, indicating a promising future for the Tigers on the gridiron.
