The LSU Tigers, under the guidance of head coach Brian Kelly, have secured a commitment from Charles Ross, a highly-touted four-star linebacker from Houston’s North Shore High School. Standing at 6-foot-2 and weighing 200 pounds, Ross has been instrumental in leading the North Shore Mustangs to a remarkable 15-1 season, culminating in a narrow defeat to Duncanville in the 6A D1 state championship game.
This commitment comes on the heels of a successful recruitment weekend for the Tigers, highlighting the effectiveness of LSU’s scouting and recruitment strategy. Ross joins Keylan Moses, another four-star linebacker from Baton Rouge, in what is shaping up to be an extraordinary 2025 class for the Tigers. With commitments already secured from top prospects, including the No. 1 quarterback and wide receiver, as well as the No. 2 running back in the class, LSU is poised to assemble one of the most formidable recruiting classes in the program’s history.
