The LSU Tigers are roaring into the college football season with a resounding presence, claiming the No. 5 spot in the prestigious Associated Press preseason Top 25 poll. This ranking marks a significant achievement for the Tigers, representing their highest preseason placement since 2016.
The poll, unveiled on Monday, saw the Georgia Bulldogs secure the coveted top position, closely followed by Michigan and Ohio State in the second and third spots, respectively. The acknowledgment of LSU’s capabilities within the top five showcases the team’s commitment to excellence and sets the stage for an exciting and competitive season ahead.
