Also, wide receiver Kayshon Boutte and defensive end BJ Ojulari were voted All-SEC preseason first team while defensive end Ali Gaye was named second team and defensive tackle Maason Smith was named third team.

The order of predicted finish in the West is Alabama, Texas A&M, Arkansas, Ole Miss, LSU, Mississippi State and Auburn.
