Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin is the biggest name in the current college football hiring cycle, and LSU is the team most connected with trying to lure him away. Not only is Kiffin’s decision on his future looming, but LSU is reportedly preparing to present him with a massive offer that goes well beyond his own personal compensation. According to a report from Yahoo’s Ross Dellenger on Friday night, LSU officials are finalizing an offer that could at least tie Kiffin for the highest-paid head coach in college football. The offer, which has not been finalized, could be as much as $90 million over seven years. The biggest factor in the reported offer, however, could be the promise of significant NIL roster commitments that could exceed $25 million.
