Five-star wide receiver Dakorien Moore decommitted from LSU on Wednesday. Moore, the No. 3 prospect overall in the 2025 class, is a 5-foot-11, 185-pound recruit from Duncanville, Texas. Committed to the Tigers since August, Moore announced he is reopening his recruitment. Ohio State, Oregon, and Texas, his initial top choices, continued to recruit him despite his commitment to LSU. Moore was the second-highest ranked commitment in LSU’s class, just behind No. 2 ranked Bryce Underwood, a five-star quarterback from Belleville, Michigan. LSU still holds six ESPN 300 commitments, including Underwood, the No. 1 ranked running back Harlem Berry, cornerback Jaboree Antoine, offensive linemen Devin Harper and Tyler Miller, and linebacker Charles Ross.

In addition to Moore’s decommitment, LSU received a commitment Wednesday night from Grand Valley State transfer Jay’viar Suggs. Suggs, a 6-foot-3, 282-pound defensive tackle from Flint, Michigan, announced his decision on social media, choosing LSU over Kentucky, Michigan, and Wisconsin. With two years of eligibility left, Suggs played 22 games over two seasons at Grand Valley State, recording 42 tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss, eight sacks, and four hurries. Suggs is LSU’s second defensive tackle transfer this offseason, joining Wisconsin sixth-year senior Gio Paez. Meanwhile, LSU’s recruiting staff, led by Brian Kelly, extended an offer to Ba’Roc Willis, a 6-foot-3, 220-pound linebacker from Moody High School in Alabama, as they aim to secure talent for future seasons.
