The LSU Tigers continue to make waves on the recruiting trail, adding another promising talent to their 2024 class. Ory Williams, the fast-rising offensive tackle from Texas, made his commitment to LSU official after an impactful trip to Baton Rouge.
Standing tall at 6-foot-7 and weighing 300 pounds, Williams caught the attention of offensive line coach Brad Davis, who has been closely monitoring his progress over the past few months. Davis sees immense potential in Williams, envisioning him as a future standout in the competitive SEC.
The LSU coaching staff left a lasting impression on Williams during his official visit in June, and he returned to campus for the Tigers’ Bayou Splash recruiting event. Originally scheduled to visit Florida on Saturday, Williams had a change of heart after experiencing the LSU campus once again, ultimately canceling his visit to pledge his commitment to the Tigers.
With Williams now on board, LSU is building a formidable offensive line group for the 2024 class, alongside fellow commits Khayree Lee and Ethan Calloway. The Tigers are still pursuing other top targets, such as Blake Ivy and Weston Davis, as they aim to solidify their position as one of the top recruiting classes in the nation. Moreover, their pursuit of Joseph Cryer, an Ole Miss commit, indicates their relentless pursuit of local talent to bolster their roster.
