Mac Jones addresses possibly losing 49ers’ starting QB job to Brock Purdy

According to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports, San Francisco 49ers Week 1 starting quarterback Brock Purdy is expected to return to the lineup when the 49ers play at the Arizona Cardinals (3-6) on Nov. 16.  Shortly after the 49ers fell to 6-4 via a 42-26 home loss to the Los Angeles Rams (7-2) on Sunday, San Francisco fill-in QB1 Mac Jones addressed his uncertain future.  “I’ve never tried to look ahead,” Jones explained about his mindset, per Nick Wagoner of ESPN. “It’s hard not to, but I never want to do that.
