The Orlando Magic and Brooklyn Nets put on a show Wednesday night, so it was only fitting that the game went to overtime and came down to the final play. Despite the late-game heroics from Nets rookie Egor Demin, it was not enough to outlast the Magic (21-17), who prevailed in a 104-103 OT thriller after forward Paolo Banchero’s game-winning triple off the in-bounds pass. Banchero finished with 30 points (11-of-19 FG), 14 rebounds and six assists and helped the Magic escape after blowing an 18-point lead and getting outscored 29-14 in the fourth quarter. The Magic were only 9-of-33 (27%) from three-point range the entire game, so it was only fitting that Banchero’s game-winner was banked in.
