Marcus Spears rips Cowboys, compares Micah Parsons situation to Luka Doncic

Following Micah Parsons’ request to be traded from the Dallas Cowboys, ESPN analyst Marcus Spears shared his reaction. The former Cowboys lineman called it an “inflection point” for the franchise after their star asked out.

Spears also compared Parsons to Luka Doncic , who was traded from the Dallas Mavericks to the Los Angeles Lakers in a blockbuster move this past NBA season. The reaction was swift as fans chanted “Fire Nico,” regarding general manager Nico Harrison after he made the trade.

If the Cowboys were to trade Parsons, Spears predicted the reaction would be similar. He also pointed out the implications of the latest turn on the Dallas franchise, particularly for Jerry and Stephen Jones .

“If Micah is dug in, kudos to you, bro,” Spears said Friday on NFL Live . “I hate to see you go. I would love for you be a Dallas Cowboy as long as possible because you’re a phenomenal player. But at some point, Jerry and Stephen is going to mess with the wrong one and they’re going to stand on business for real and not show up to play games. Now, everybody [says], ‘Money is going to fix it and eventually he’ll break.’ Maybe that’ll be the case. Maybe Micah Parsons is doing this for a negotiating tactic.
