If Seattle Mariners fans are feeling a little giddy right now, then no one should blame them at all. The Mariners just finished up winning three of four games over the Texas Rangers on Sunday, moving 2.5 games behind the Houston Astros for the top spot in the American League West division. Seattle made a couple of key acquisitions at the MLB trade deadline, helping to bolster its offense. Instead of waiting for the proverbial next shoe to drop, Mariners president of baseball operations Jerry Dipoto started wheeling and dealing.
