The New Orleans Saints have elevated two promising talents to their active roster, wide receiver Marquez Callaway and fullback Adam Prentice. This decision, announced by Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis just ahead of their matchup against the Detroit Lions, highlights the team’s commitment to nurturing and harnessing raw talent.

Marquez Callaway, standing at 6 feet 2 inches and weighing 204 pounds, initially joined the Saints as an undrafted free agent in 2020. Since then, Callaway has showcased his skills on the field, amassing an impressive 83 receptions for 1,069 yards and seven touchdowns in 42 regular-season games. His promotion signifies the team’s confidence in his ability to contribute significantly to their offensive schemes.

Accompanying Callaway is fullback Adam Prentice, a 6-foot, 245-pound athlete who made his mark with the Denver Broncos before being acquired by the Saints off waivers at the commencement of the regular season. Prentice’s addition to the active roster underscores the Saints’ desire to strengthen their ground game and provide essential support for the team’s running backs.

With these two talented individuals now part of the active roster, the New Orleans Saints are poised to navigate the challenges ahead and continue their pursuit of excellence on the football field, showcasing the organization’s commitment to nurturing and harnessing talent for a brighter future.
