Marshawn Kneeland death: Micah Parsons reacts to stunning passing of former Dallas Cowboys teammate

Former Dallas Cowboys star pass rusher Micah Parsons reacted to the news of the death of defensive end Marshawn Kneeland on Thursday morning. Kneeland died at age 24.

The cause of Kneeland’s death has not yet been released, but more details from police have emerged. The Cowboys officially confirmed the news with a statement released on Thursday morning. Parsons reacted shortly after on his Instagram story.

“I’m sorry lil brother I hope you find peace,” Parsons wrote. Parsons was traded from Dallas to Green Bay this offseason, so he got to know Kneeland over the past two years.

Included on Parsons’ post was one full heart emoji, followed by two broken heart emojis. Clearly, the news was taking its toll.

“It is with extreme sadness that the Dallas Cowboys share that Marshawn Kneeland tragically passed away this morning,” theDallas Cowboys said in a brief statement. “Marshawn was a beloved teammate and member of our organization. Our thoughts and prayers regarding Marshawn are with his girlfriend Catalina and his family.”

The NFL also added a statement on Marshawn Kneeland’s passing on Thursday morning. The news came as a shock to the entire league.
