Dealing with some back soreness coming into training camp, QB Matthew Stafford has been resting over the past week to be at his best going into the upcoming season. Now, the Rams are expecting him back, at least in a limited, separate capacity, for this week.
According to Sean McVay per Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Stafford won’t be a full-go tomorrow for Los Angeles. He’ll instead be doing a solo workout on some of the basics as he takes care of himself in a rehab.
“#Rams coach Sean McVay told reporters that QB Matthew Stafford won’t participate in the jog-through tomorrow, but will do a workout on his own, instead,” Rapoport tweeted.
“It’s static throwing. It’s some of the unloaded running on the treadmill. Sometimes it might even be walking. Cardio and core,” said McVay.
