Micah Parsons highlights lack of owner in Packers franchise after Cowboys trade, Jerry Jones standoff

Once his trade to the Green Bay Packers became official, Micah Parsons had to learn about the history of the fan base. What stood out right away is the fact the Packers don’t have a true owner, and he highlighted that during his introductory press conference Friday night.

Parsons met with reporters for the first time since the blockbuster trade came down Thursday. He and Jerry Jones didn’t talk much throughout the process, with information “pretty much all” going through agent David Mulugheta of Athletes First , before he headed to Green Bay.

Once word started getting out the Cowboys were considering a trade, Parsons said he felt appreciation right away from the Green Bay fan base. Especially considering their passion for their team, the star pass-rusher said he wants that to translate to his game, as well.
