Green Bay Packers edge rusher Micah Parsons suffered an injury during Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos, and a former NFL doctor believes it’s serious. David J. Chao went to social media to share the video of the injury and predict his diagnosis.
“By video, left knee ACL tear,” Chao wrote in the post. “Hope the film lies. Walking off the field, but…”

Micah Parsons suffered the injury while he was going after Broncos quarterback Bo Nix in the third quarter. It was a non-contact injury, and Parsons was taken to tthe locker room after being on the ground for a while.
If Chao is right and Parsons suffered a torn ACL, it would be a big blow to the Packers, who are battling the Chicago Bears for the NFC North title. The Packers acquired Parsons from the Dallas Cowboys before the start of the season, and he has been one of the best defensive players in the NFL. Entering Sunday’s game, the former Penn State star has registered 12.5 sacks and 12 tackles for loss through 13 games.
