Disaster struck Sunday afternoon for the Green Bay Packers, as superstar defensive end Micah Parsons tore his left ACL in a 34-26 loss to the Denver Broncos. Parsons, lauded as one of the best players in the NFL, will now miss the remainder of the season for a Playoff-minded Packers team.
In his first season with the organization, Parsons terrorized opposing NFC offenses. The four-time All-Pro selection recorded 41 tackles, 12.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles in 14 games.
Following the injury, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones expressed his best wishes for Parsons’ recovery. Dallas traded Parsons to Green Bay just before the 2025 NFL season kicked off after contract negotiations had come to impasse between both sides.
