Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris gave an update on quarterback Michael Penix Jr. , who suffered an injury in the Sunday Night Football game against the San Francisco 49ers.Morris told reportersthat Penix sustained a bone bruise in his foot that will now leave him day-to-day.

Towards the end of the Falcons’ 20-10 loss to the 49ers, Michael Penix Jr. took low hits on multiple plays, and he was seen being taken to the medical tent for evaluation. After the game, Raheem Morris told reporters about how his starting QB was feeling.
