The NFL offered the NFLPA ZERO preseason games ahead of the 2020 regular season. This is a big development because the league wanted two preseason games originally. Earlier today the NFL proposed one game but ultimately changed its stance.

The NFLPA’s Director of External Affairs George Atallah tweeted:

Precise points on the discussions between the NFL and NFLPA:
1. NFL didn’t offer or give up preseason games for us. They had the right to set those (or not) under the CBA already.
2. NFL didn’t “concede” on health and safety issues. We implemented the best protocols together.

The players should consider this a victory as they & the league continues to hammer out details before camp starts. NFL training camps are schedule to start on July 28th 2020. This story is developing please stay tuned…
