The Falcons hired Alex Van Pelt as their quarterbacks coach, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported. Van Pelt worked as the Browns offensive coordinator under Kevin Stefanski from 2020-23. The team later announced the news.

Atlanta is hiring former Jets offensive coordinator Tanner Engstrand as their offensive passing game coordinator, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.
