New Orleans,LA – The NFL released another proposal that recommended decreasing roster number to 80 players Tuesday. The proposal to drop the roster by 10 players is in response to the social distance measures in team facilities.
NFL Sources also said the league and the union officially agreed Tuesday to to drop all preseason games for the 2020 season. NFL and the NFLPA are getting ever so closer to an agreement on rules that will govern training camp and the season under the difficult Pandemic. Sources who were on the call Tuesday said “there has been agreement on several issues but work remains to be done on others.”
